Specialty: Hand, Wrist, Knee & Orthopaedic Trauma Surgery

After attending the University of Minnesota Medical School, Dr. Janes completed an internship at the Presbyterian/St. Lukes Hospital. He completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Utah Medical School and is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.

Dr. Janes is affiliated with the Colorado Medical Society, St. Anthony's/Centura Health System and Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center, and is a board member of Peak One Surgery Center. He has published numerous articles and has given various lectures. Dr. Janes has particular expertise in hand, wrist, knee and trauma surgery. 

In addition to doing surgical mission work in Africa, Dr. Janes enjoys spending time with his granddaughter, and values a strong balance between family and his commitment to his work.   Dr. Janes also enjoys playing ice hockey and in-line skating and creating stained glass works.
