Heather received her Master’s of Physical Therapy degree from the University of North Dakota. She has 21 years of experience in a variety of settings from outpatient orthopedics, wellness/fitness clubs, high school and college athletics, school PT, and early intervention including pediatric home care. After graduation she worked at a Spine clinic in St Paul, MN while completing her ATC internship hours with the University of Minnesota Football and Track and Field teams. Heather’s next position was at an outpatient orthopedic clinic in Northern Colorado where she specialized in knee and shoulder rehab. She continued her work in outpatient orthopedics working at a rehab and fitness clinic in WV. While in WV she started her own pediatric business and started to see children in the community for therapy. This passion for working with children transformed into working full time in pediatrics. She also began working in an area school district seeing children, K-12, along with home visits. When Heather’s family moved back to CO, she continued her work in pediatrics where she has worked in the Early Intervention program. She is also a member of the Infant Support Team of Larimer County that transitions babies from the NICU to home. Heather is a competitive triathlete and previous college swimmer that enjoys spending time with her husband and two children skiing, backpacking, and road/mountain biking.
