Barbara Burns, PT, DPT

Biography

Barbara grew up in Northwest New Jersey and graduated from Keystone College in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in science. After graduation, she attended Kean University, graduating in 2019 with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Barbara remained in NJ and began her career working as a staff physical therapist for two years and a clinical director in an outpatient setting. Barbara treated a variety of diagnosis/injures that included: orthopedic injuries, pelvic floor, TMJ, vestibular, sports injuries, and many more. She was able to experience working in an inpatient/rehab setting treating a variety of disabling diseases and injuries including strokes, spinal cord injuries, amputees, and more. Barbara looks forward to applying her knowledge from both settings to help individuals return to optimal health and improved quality of life. When she is not in the clinic, Barbara enjoys traveling, attending live music concerts, exercising, hanging out with her dogs, hiking, and is looking forward to taking on as many new hobbies as she can in the Colorado mountains.
