Born a proud Minnesotan, Ana attended undergraduate and graduate school at the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN earning her masters in physical therapy. Her interest in sports medicine brought her to Vail, where she started her career at Howard Head Sports Medicine in 2006. Ana completed her orthopaedic residency and earned her transitional doctor of physical therapy degree at Regis University. As an orthopaedic specialist, Ana works closely with physicians and surgeons with an emphasis in lower extremity injuries and the foot and ankle. She has presented and published on the topic "return to sport" considerations for foot and ankle both locally and nationally. Ana has developed a great working relationship with the US Cross Country National Team. She traveled with them to the Sochi Winter Olympic Games in 2014 and the World Championships in Falun Sweden in 2015.
