A Colorado native, Matt grew up in Pagosa Springs, CO, spending winters learning to ski at Wolf Creek. Matt completed his undergraduate degree at Colorado State University in 2002, earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania in 2007, and his Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration in 2019. Matt joined Howard Head Sports Medicine in 2007 and is a Residency trained Sports Physical Therapy Specialist that has worked extensively with the U.S. Women’s Alpine Ski Team as a team PT and has traveled the world taking care of our US Women’s Alpine Skiing Olympic Team. He specializes in ski and snowboard injury rehabilitation, ACL rehabilitation, golf injury rehabilitation, injury assessment as well as injury risk reduction techniques. Matt has lectured nationally and locally on topics related to knee injuries, as well as published literature related to pathology of the knee.
