The hospital located, quite literally, at the base of Vail Mountain where one can enjoy world-class skiing and snowboarding. From the patient room windows experience front-row views of the mountain slopes. The winter here is unbeatable, but the summers are the real hidden gem. Surrounded by towering Aspens, with rivers and creeks to play in, and a temperate climate, it’s hard to ever leave. Become part of our tight-knit Family Birth Center RN team and stay for this unbeatable lifestyle. In general, we care for a healthy population of mothers and infants in our 7+ bed LDRP unit. We have many low-risk deliveries, but the care team also manages preterm births, preeclampsia and other high-risk obstetric conditions. We boast a single-suite OR for family-centered cesarean sections. Our Level II nursery admits babies that are 32+ weeks gestation. All our nurses take STABLE and are NRP certified, so we are fully equipped to stabilize 32+ week gestation infants for transport when necessary. The nurses here practice with high autonomy but have 24/7 on-call support by an NNP and OB provider, when not in-house. For further employment incentive, Vail Health employees are eligible for a $1000 wellness credit that can be used for an extensive list of wellness purchases like a ski pass, gym memberships, sporting equipment, massages—to name a few. During breaks, RNs can visit Vail Health’s Zen Den, which is outfitted with aromatherapy and massage chairs to help them refresh and restore before returning to the bedside to provide top-notch patient care. Employees have access to an onsite employee gym open around the clock. And, as a Vail Health employee you can attend one yoga session per week at a local studio, free of charge. Don’t let mountain living remain a dream, make it a reality. Apply now to put your advanced knowledge and skills to use, joining our vision of being the leading mountain healthcare system attracting the best talent to advance quality health for everyone in our communities.
