Dr. Brooke Lamphere is a Sport and Performance Optimization Postdoctoral Fellow. She is a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) through the Association for Applied Sport Psychology, and earned her PhD in Counseling Psychology from the University of Denver in 2021. Dr. Lamphere is working toward licensure as a psychologist in Colorado. She completed her Doctoral Internship in Clinical Psychology with the University of Colorado School of Medicine, specializing in integrated primary care. She has presented at national conferences on the topics related to sport psychology, body image and eating concerns in athletes, positive psychology, and health psychology. Dr. Lamphere’s professional interests include mindfulness and acceptance-based approaches to well-being and performance enhancement, culturally responsive care and social determinants of health, body image and disordered eating, and populations with disability and/or chronic illness. Her previous professional experiences include working as a student sport psychology consultant with the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee, as well as training in psychological assessment, performance enhancement, assessment and treatment of eating disorders, addiction psychology, and transplant psychology. In her free time, Dr. Lamphere enjoys spending time with friends and family, hiking with her dog, watching or playing sports, and reading.
