Jacob is a Psychology Intern, completing his Doctoral Internship in the Sport Psychology Track with Eagle Valley Behavioral Health. He is currently a Doctoral Candidate obtaining his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Texas Tech University and received his Master of Arts in Psychology from Texas Tech University in 2019. He has a broad range of experience providing mental and behavioral health services with an emphasis in sport psychology which has included working in a Div. I athletic department and private practice focusing on the performance and well-being of high performing athletes. He has received training in psychological assessment, performance enhancement, treatment of pain, and integrative care. He has presented at national conferences on the topics related to sport psychology, chronic pain, masculinity, and gender norms. In his free time, Jacob enjoys spending time with friends and family, napping, playing board games, skiing, running, and being active and outside.
