ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:<\/strong><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/div>\n
Prepares, positions, and scans patients for Nuclear Medicine and PET\/CT exams. Prepares and administers radioactive isotopes, and operates Nuclear Medicine and PET\/CT imaging equipment.<\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/div>\n
**This is a PRN or as needed position.**<\/strong><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/div>\n
WHAT YOU WILL DO:\u00a0<\/strong><\/div>\n
    \n
  1. Performs all Nuclear Medicine and PET examinations according to Vail Health protocols.<\/li>\n
  2. Complies with the State of Colorado for radiation safe practice in the handling of radiopharmaceuticals.<\/li>\n
  3. Reviews each examination for technical accuracy, send completed examinations to radiologist, and communicate pertinent data to persons responsible for the care of the patient following the procedure.<\/li>\n
  4. Monitors supply inventory and notify appropriate staff for ordering when stock is low. Keep exam and dressing rooms stocked and neat.<\/li>\n

    • 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      • Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification (NMTCB) and\/or American Registry of Radiologic Technologist in Nuclear Medicine (ARRT(N)).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
